Tammy Goodman, Varsity Head Coach
Coach Goodman is currently in her second stint as head coach at her alma mater. After a standout playing career at Kent County High School, Salisbury University, and Washington College, Coach Goodman returned to Kent County High School to lead the field hockey team to an East Region championship in her first season as Varsity Head Coach. She was subsequently named Mid-Shore Coach of the Year following her first season. Coach Goodman had her team in the Regional Championship game every year during her first stint as head coach. After briefly moving away, Coach Goodman returned to the helm of the field hockey program and continued the winning tradition.
In addition to coaching field hockey, Coach Goodman serves as a school counselor at Kent County Middle School. Coach Goodman was inducted into the Kent County High School Athletic Hall of Fame as an athlete in 2011, and again in 2012 with the 1994 KCHS Field Hockey Team.

Trish McGee, Junior Varsity Head Coach
Coach McGee returned to the Kent County High School field hockey program, in 2012, after coaching at Gunston. Coach McGee says she has no idea what her career win-loss record was as the varsity field hockey coach at Kent County High School, only that over her 15-year tenure (1989-2003) the Trojans never had a losing season. The final season, in 2003, included the only unbeaten regular season in program history (12-0) and a trip to the Class 1A state Final Four. Coach McGee's Trojans won four North Bayside Conference division titles; two Bayside Conference championships, downing mighty Pocomoke both times; and six Class 1A region championships, including a remarkable five in the six-year span of 1993 to 1998. Also with Coach McGee as their coach, the Trojans reached two state finals (1994 and 1997), losing both times to Pocomoke. Coach Goodman was a standout player on Coach McGee's 1994 team.
Coach McGee attended Kent County High School as a freshman and a sophomore, before graduating from St. Andrew’s High School and Washington College. For more than 25 years she has been writing about the athletes at KCHS for the Kent County News.
